Join Kamp Konnect 2024

13th - 21st August 2024

Kamp Konnect is a week-long leadership and cultural experience designed for girls entering SS1 through SS3 (Year 10 - 12) in Lagos. Through a carefully curated series of activities, participants will not only acquire new practical skills and have fun but also be inspired to become agents of change within their communities, homes, schools, and the broader society.

Each participant signs up to specialize in Arts and Craft, Film Making, or UX Design, and still gets a chance to collaborate with others in carrying out a team project. Additionally, everyone will participate in a cook and bake lab, leaving the camp with one new culinary skill.

There will be a series of spiritual activities during the camp which will be provided by Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. The program is open to all qualified applicants regardless of creed or religion.

Activity Tracks for Kamp Konnect 2024

Arts and Crafts

Through hands-on workshops and collaborative projects, Participants who register for this track will explore the rich vibrant world of textiles. They will collaborate to create their own Nigerian-inspired fashion pieces, celebrating the beauty and diversity of Nigerian culture.

Film Making

Participants who register for this track will learn the art of storytelling through film. From scriptwriting to directing and editing, they will work together to create a short film that reflects their perspectives and experiences, giving them a voice in the world of cinema.

Ux Design Track

Participants who register for this track will learn how to create digital experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and impactful. From wireframing to prototyping, they will collaborate to design a user-friendly app or website that addresses a real-world problem.
